2009-08-03
Recent data breach incidents in the electronic payment processing
industry have highlighted the need for PCI Data Security Standards
(PCI DSS) compliance monitoring, it has been claimed.
"At
Momentum, we are dedicated to ensuring PCI compliance so that our
small-to-medium sized merchants are secure in meeting all regulatory
requirements for protecting cardholder data," said vice-president of
operations at Momentum Payment Systems Robel Sebany.
Momentum
has announced it has successfully completed its PCI annual
review.
It claimed that it has introduced measures to help its
merchants in compliance with the PCI Data Security Standards, which
are designed to protect cardholders' information.
These
measures have also been brought in to provide a single-source solution
for merchants' processing needs.
